Our annual fundraiser, A Night of Comedy and Magic, will take place once again this year at the Vista Optimist Club. Unlike our past Casino Night theme, this year's event will have you in awe and wonder as you enjoy a night of entertainment from talented comedic magicians of The Magic Castle – an exclusive club in Hollywood where magicians celebrate and perform their craft.

If you have been to our past events, you know this will be a fun night of fundraising, with all proceeds benefiting our students and student programs at Mission Vista High School. 

  • Doors open at 6PM with an Italian-themed dinner (vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available!)
  • Parlor shows will run throughout the night starting at 6:30PM
  • Main stage show will be from 7:30-8:30PM
  • Cash bar will be open all night, with bartending magic!
  • Silent Auction Items and Raffle opportunities throughout the night.


Your ticket includes dinner and dessert, and all the entertainment you can squeeze into the night. Plus, a silent auction bid number, photo booth to capture memories, and a bunch of fun!

  • Tickets will be offered at the door for $85 if we don't sell out (but we hope to!). 
  • Teachers and Admins - As a small thank you for the work that you do all year long, we encourage you to join us at a reduced $55 ticket. We promise not to talk business!

In our usual fundraising fashion, our event will feature incredible Silent Auction Baskets donated by local area businesses, student teams and clubs, and current and past parents. The Silent Auction begins at 6PM when doors open, and will run throughout the night. New this year will be a Live Auction that will include a few hot ticket items such as MVHS Fan Gear, Exclusive Access to The Magic Castle, Disneyland Tickets, Great Getaways, a year of free Car Washes and possibly more!

We are seeking donations! We accept any items (including gift cards) to be used for silent auction or raffle items. If you have a business and would like to donate an item or service, want to solicit a business or would like to donate any items, please download the donation letter and donation form.
